Emergency First Aid

One of the most popular one-day training courses is emergency first aid. This course includes certification and training in either CPR level “A”, “C” or “HCP” and in the use of automated external defibrillators (AED). Participants that successfully complete this course will receive a wallet sized certificate that is valid for 3 years. Registration is quick and easy and can be completed on-line, via email or telephone. CPR Included

Participants that register for the course will have the option of which level of CPR training to partner with the course. The options are as follows:

  • CPR level “A” – Basic CPR rescues for adult victims only
  • CPR level “C” – Basic CPR rescues for adult, child and infant victims
  • CPR level “HCP” – CPR rescues for adult, child and infant victims at the health care provider level

The length of this workplace approved training course is 8 hours.

All of the classes feature automated external defibrillator (AED) education. Course fee includes all applicable taxes, workplace approved training manual and certificate.

Re-Certification Classes

Candidates that have already completed a emergency first aid course through a credible provider and would like to renew certification can do so by registering on our emergency first aid re-certification page (found on the menu). Ensure that you meet the required prerequisites prior to applying.

Program Content

Participants enrolled in emergency first aid courses in Victoria will learn to manage unconscious, breathing victims by placing them in the recovery position.

Emergency CPR and first aid consists of the most common first aid, CPR and AED emergencies which might happen. The following is a short outline of the class content of an emergency first aid, CPR and AED class:
