Standard First Aid Re-Certifications

Victoria First Aid provides refresher programs for applicants that want to re-certify expiring standard first aid and CPR certificates. This course is specifically designed for participants which have previously completed a legitimate standard first aid training course and need to re-certify the license. The re-cert award is of identical worth as the first award and it’s valid for three years. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation level “C” re-certification is included in the course. Re-Certification Criteria

Individuals need to fulfil the following prerequisites before registering for a standard first aid and CPR re-certification class:

  • Learn the latest standards and techniques in managing chest pains by enrolling in a standard first aid re-certification course in Victoria.

    Old certificates have to have been written by a credible Canadian service provider for example, the Lifesaving Society, St. Johns Ambulance, St Mark James Training, or Heart and Stroke Foundation. In case the certificate was supplied through a different provider please make sure to contact us to ascertain if the award meets credible standards.

  • Previous award needs to have been given in the past 3 years. If the cert is over 3 years the applicants have to redo the class.

Course Information

The price of the class is (price) dollars. This price comprises of workplace approved certification expenses and taxes. The length of the program is around eight hours as mandated through provincial regulations. The class must be no less than 8 hours regardless of candidate experience or level of skill.

Workplace Approved Certification

As soon as applicants complete the necessary skills component and multiple choice test they’ll be given a workplace approved standard first aid award which is current for 36 months.
